Mark Lavelle

Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO

Mark Lavelle has over 20 years of experience growing businesses at the intersection of commerce, payments, and internet technology. Previously, he was SVP of Commerce at Adobe, as a result of the $1.7 billion acquisition of his former company Magento Commerce, where he was CEO. Mr. Lavelle also held leadership roles at eBay Enterprise and at PayPal, following its acquisition of Bill Me Later, a company Mr. Lavelle transformed from an idea to over $120 million in revenue.

Gary Marino

Co-Founder, President, and Director

For more than three decades Gary Marino has held executive level positions at high-growth global businesses in the banking and financial technology sectors. Most recently as Chief Commercial Officer at PayPal, he spearheaded the shift to mobile, growing customer relationships from approximately 180 million to over 280 million, and delivering industry-leading revenue growth. Mr. Marino joined PayPal in 2008 following the $1 billion acquisition of Bill Me Later, a company he co-founded and built into one of FinTech’s earliest unicorns.

Michael Cyrus

Co-Founder, CFO, and Director

From private equity funds to international energy companies and financial services, Michael Cyrus has enjoyed a 30-year career as an executive and business leader across a vast range of sectors. His most recent position was Managing Partner and COO at SteelRiver Partners, a leading private investments firm where he managed $4 billion in assets. Mr. Cyrus has spent most of his career in domestic and international acquisitions, where he guided emerging companies through dramatic transformations and into long-term growth.

Mark Lenhard

CEO at Invoice2go

Mark Lenhard is the Chief Executive Officer of Invoice2go, a software platform that empowers independent, service-oriented small businesses to grow and manage their businesses. Prior to Invoice2go, Mr. Lenhard was part of the management team that spun Magento out of eBay, ultimately selling the business to Adobe. Previously, he held executive roles at JPMorgan Chase and PayPal and launched several entrepreneurial ventures. He serves as a board member, advisor and seed investor to a number of growth companies in commerce and financial services. Mark holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Pam Attinger

Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates

Pam Attinger is a Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates and leads the firm’s Global Fintech and Payments Practice. Pam also has responsibility for the Global eCommerce, Marketplaces and Media Practice. Her clients range from global Fortune 500 to private equity and venture-capital-backed companies. Previously, Pam spent nine years at Visa Inc. most recently as Global Head of Innovation. Earlier, Pam was a management consultant for Marakon Associates, a global strategy consulting firm, where she worked with Fortune 100 companies to drive growth strategies. Pam received her M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.S. in economics from Miami University.

David Motley

CEO and President at MCAPS, LLC

David currently serves on several public, private, and VC/PE backed company boards.  He is also on the board of Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Leadership positions include: Lead Director, Nom Gov Chair, Audit Chair.  
Following David’s 30 year corporate career, he co-founded 3 enterprises: The BlueTree Venture Fund, DDRC327, LLC (a real estate development company), and MCAPS, LLC (a professional services company). David is also the co-Founder of the African American Directors Forum (AADF), one of the more highly regarded resources for connecting board opportunities to exceptionally qualified African American executives.
David is a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of the PITT’s Swanson School of Engineering and earned his MBA at Harvard.

Jeremy Jonker

Managing Partner, Infinity VC

Jeremy Jonker is the Founder and Managing Partner of Infinity VC, an early-stage venture firm focused on fintech infrastructure and commerce enablement. Prior to Infinity VC, Jeremy was the Senior Vice President of Consumer In-Store and Digital Commerce at PayPal Holdings, where he spearheaded PayPal and Venmo’s in-store payments initiatives and led the teams responsible for creating a seamless shopping, cash-back and rewards experience for millions of customers around the globe. Under his leadership, PayPal made a number of significant acquisitions, including Braintree, Venmo, Xoom, iZettle and Honey, and investments backing some of the world’s most innovative start-ups, including Uber, Acorns, Divvy and Plaid. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington – Kelley School of Business and an MBA with Distinction from Georgetown University – The McDonough School of Business.

Deep Lake Capital is a newly incorporated blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.

We will pursue an initial business combination in the financial technology and ecommerce industry, where we believe our management team’s expertise will provide us with a competitive advantage.
